Every unit purchased by us in
Japanese auto auctions goes through a strict quality control
process. Vehicles failing this inspection are returned
to respective auction house or to the dealer.
Upon purchase the vehicles are transported
to inspection facilities, strategically located near the
three major ports of Japan (Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka).
Odometer Verification and Certification:
Odometer Inspection Services, an independent company specializing
in odometer and instrument calibration and verification,
does the mileage checks at three locations prior to export.
Vehicles failing this inspection are returned to respective
auction centers or to the dealer.
The inspection center is fully equipped
and the inspection staff has direct links to the data
entry clerks so when the cars are inspected, initial vehicle
information can be checked and corrected if needed.
Vehicles failing inspection are
returned to the dealer or auction center.
Before shipping, each unit must pass
through the following quality control process:
1. Vehicle inspection:
An exterior inspection is carried out to detect scratches
or any other damage.
2. Full exterior and interior
inspection:
A full inspection of the engine, exterior, interior, and
underneath the vehicle is done.
3. Mechanical inspection and
grading:
Full-time mechanics are on the premises for engine and
overall inspection with hydraulic lift and specialized
testing equipments. Reports are created with grading.
Some of the power train check up includes:
- Engine Warm Up Cycle / Head Gasket / Engine Block Crack
Testing
- Fuel Injection System / Emission Check
- Transmission, Transfer case and Differential Testing
4. Photographs:
A specially designed studio is used for photographing
vehicles for publishing over the Internet.
5. Condition Inspection:
Our inspectors review and record all vehicle conditions
and grade them accordingly.
6. Record Keeping and Verification:
All vehicle conditions, options, and grades are reconfirmed
upon completion of the inspection process.

Fundamentals Behind our Quality
Control and Vehicle Selection Process:
We are consistently working towards delivering
high quality standards while maintaining value. Being
consumers ourselves we do not believe in charging our
customers unethical profits. We focus on volume rather
than exorbitant profits from sale of a single vehicle.
We believe volume generates more volume, in fact we cater
to more repeat customers and referrals than new ones.
We do not put our money into junks to
maintain a profitable inventory and our business model
doesn't work that way. We have the ability and the resources
to buy right, inspect, and when a vehicle don't pass basic
criteria or if the vehicle appears to be different from
the auction inspection sheet, we simply return it back
to the auction center. It is important to know that we
can never be stuck with a junk just because we bought
it at the auction. A junk will not find its way to "our"
customers.
The vehicle pictures and the condition
report you see in our web site are actual representations
of the vehicle. What do we mean by this? Universally auto
dealers do their best to present a vehicle at their best.
This generally involves cleaning, waxing, paint touch
ups or repainting faded panels etc. However the downside
is that you don't get to see how this vehicle was actually
used by the previous owner.
All of these "make up" work
can be done for thousands of dollars less than dealers
mark up for their presentation efforts. We all know how
to maintain a vehicle, change out fluids, steam clean
interiors, exterior waxing or even have it painted. It
is your money and you decide how to spend it wisely, our
vehicles have no frills nor the mark up. They are true
representations at fantastic value, yet fully inspected
for major mechanical problems.
